Anti-Riot Armour

Anti-Riot Armour

TSA Anti-riot armour is the most advanced armour in current production. It comes in a variety of sizes to suit most people’s body’s. This allows maximum performance and manoeuvrability. Comfort can be enhanced by the addition of cotton covers.

This is the only riot armour that is certified to SATRA BS7971-4:2002 level 2 standard and has been awarded the EC Type certificate in accordance with article 10 of the PPE Directive (89/686/EEC)

This armour has now been awarded the National Contract in the UK to all Police Forces for the next years. This armour shows some of the most advanced technology in trauma protection.

In conjunction with this armour a coverall is used that can protect from flammable liquids thrown at officers as an over garment.

Anti-Riot Helmets

Anti-Riot Helmets

The TSA anti-riot helmet has been designed to be used in areas where there are only low velocity projectiles and a high risk from items such as bricks and bottles being thrown at the user. These helmets can withstand hard punishment and still remain functional and in good working order.

The helmet has a locking visor to allow the eyes and face of the user to be fully protected from any facial attack, while having full use of their arms and hands to enable the user to defend themselves or subdue their attacker. The visor is scratch resistant and has a flexible rubber seal on the top, stopping liquids and fluids coming into contact with the user.

The helmet is constructed from high impact plastic and aramid, and these are amongst the most advanced riot helmets available on the market today. The plastic visor can be changed for a more impact resistant plastic up to a ballistic plastic. Custom colours are available on request.

The helmet has been designed to withstand a multitude of different scenarios that a riot officer could encounter. They are spike resistant to reduce the risk from handmade sharp objects and from pointed thrown projectiles.

The high impact resistance helmet harness dramatically reduces the effect on the user if hit on the head by an object. The energy is dissipated throughout the helmet and reduces any risk of head trauma.

Flame retardant and heat resistant polycarbonate has been employed to reinforce the helmets and protect the user from “Molotov cocktails” and flaming objects.

The visor is low ballistic grade to withstand pellets at 200m/second. This is a modern addition to the helmet to combat low velocity and medium velocity projectiles aimed directly at the wearers face.

Anti-Riot Shields & Batons

Anti-Riot Shields & Batons

Total Secure Defence shields are made from highly durable polycarbonate plastic as standard, offering lightweight shields, whilst still maintaining a high level of protection to the user. There is a huge variety of shield designs and styles available on request.

Shields can be custom made depending on volume to any requirements stated by the customer. Most shields have an inbuilt impact layer so they can withstand a higher impact force and higher velocity debris without the user feeling a greater impact.

The addition of the impact layer is a greater step forward in the technology for the use of the shield. With the impact layer, the risk to the user’s arm getting injured is greatly reduced when a large object is thrown at the barricade or user as the energy is dissipated throughout a larger area.

Interlocking shields are available for barrier and wall making. The shield can be produced in full length (6 foot), ½ length and ¼ length. Other lengths are available upon request.

This unique locking mechanism allows the shields to link together and be fixed together to make a secure wall and structure.
